A CONSIDERED APPROACH TO SPACE

About Youxu Studio

Youxu Studio was born from a love of both beauty and structure - of spaces that feel inviting, yet work effortlessly for everyday life. I am trained in interior architecture and design, having studied in London, and my approach is shaped by international experience living and working across the US, Asia, and Europe.

Alongside my design practice, I work within a luxury audio company, where attention to detail, craftsmanship, and timeless design are central. This background has deeply influenced how I think about interiors: considered, functional, and built to last. As a mother of two, I am equally grounded in the realities of daily life, and passionate about creating spaces that truly support how people live.

What brings me the most joy is looking at a room and reimagining how it could function better. Often, this doesn’t mean starting over, but working thoughtfully with what is already there – refining layouts, creating order, and making a few intentional additions that allow a space to breathe.

At the heart of Youxu Studio is the belief that order and beauty belong together. A well-organised space can still feel warm, personal, and expressive. My work blends spatial redesign, organisation, and interior design, always developed collaboratively and grounded in real, lived spaces.

In addition to interior projects, the studio is also a place for making. I restore and hand-paint vintage furniture and canvas, creating bespoke pieces that bring character and individuality into everyday living.

Youxu is a Chinese word, loosely describing order, structure, and clarity - a philosophy that underpins everything I do: spaces that are thoughtfully arranged, without losing warmth or soul.
